Description: Ep.279 Korea to become global biomanufacturing training hub The World Health Organization has announced plans to establish a global biomanufacturing training hub in Korea to serve low- and middle-income countries looking to produce biological products such as vaccines. The facility is an initiative aimed at addressing the disparities in access to vaccines, which has surfaced as a major issue during the COVID-19 pandemic. The WHO’s decision has put Korea a step closer to its ambition to be part of the world’s top five vaccine hubs.
